Agnes A. Townsend

Townsend, Agnes A. Midland, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Passed away Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Brittney Manor in Midland, at the age of 88 years. Agnes Anna Marko was born August 23, 1928, in Brant , the daughter of the late Joseph and Agnes Katherine (Nestak) Marko. She had been a member of Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church. Surviving are her children, Mike (Donna) Townsend, Winter Haven, Florida; Dennis Townsend, Mulberry, Florida; Marie Townsend, Saginaw; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and their families. She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister, Joseph Kadlic, Edward Marko, Frank Marko and Mary Meyers. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Church, 2445 N. Charles Street. Rev. Fr. Ronald Wagner will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 19, 2017, where a parish vigil service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Family and friends may then gather at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass.
