Agnes Lorraine Nieznajko

Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at her home with her family at her side; at the age of 83. The daughter of the late Andrew J. and Flavy R. (Scoville) Manchester was born on April 3, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. Agnes married James A. Nieznajko on April 22, 1972 in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death on July 12, 2002. She was a member of Central Church of Nazarene. She enjoyed reading. For her love and compassion of animals, her family would refer to her as Mother Nature. Above all, Agnes cherished the time spent with her family.
Surviving are three daughters and one son: Debbie Karpuk, Marie Counselman, Tracy (John) Wise, James Nieznajko Jr. (Sylvia); a son-in-law: David Hadley; eleven grandchildren: Nicholas (Heidi), Angela (David), Andrew (Michelle), Douglas, DJ, Davonna, Stephanie, Skyler, James III, Anthony, Rachel; eleven great-grandchildren: Felicity, Faith, Edward, Rosalee, Logan, Armando, Corey, Layla, Allana, Willow, McKenna; and a sister: Esther Hickson. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family, grand-dogs and grand-cats.
Agnes was preceded in death by a son: Dusty Counselman; a daughter: Carol Hadley; a grand-daughter: Ashley Counselman; five brothers and three sisters.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate with burial to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit the family on Tuesday, March 17, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel, and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday.
