Albert Charles Plaush

Professor Albert Charles Plaush, 84, died April 18, 2017 of CHF. He was born March 20, 1934, son of Charles Plaush and Mulvina Bulka Plaush in Cleveland, Ohio. He leaves his family, stepson David (Wendi) Hoerneman, granddaughters Ellie Lynn, Madilyn Rose, Swiss family daughter, Chantal Rochat, and Carol Hoerneman Plaush. After receiving his PhD from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, he began working at SVSU in 1967. Up until 2017 he served students, teaching at various levels of physical chemistry. He enjoyed traveling & camping with family and students sent from our Swiss family. Over the years our Swiss family would send students to our USA family in Midland to practice and improve their English. In return our Swiss family gave us their home for the summer while they vacationed in Greece. He enjoyed this extended holiday time in their home near Lausanne, camping in the Alps, and a trip to see the Hadron Collider in Cern, Switzerland. After death he has contributed generous donations to the SVSU Science Department Endowment Funds. A Memorial & Dedication for Dr. Albert Plaush will be held on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 from 12:00 to 1:30 in room 228, Science East Building. Condolences may be sent to his family at hoernemandm@gmail.com or 306 W Sugnet, Midland, Michigan 48640 or Memorial Contributions in his name to SVSU Science Dept., 7400 Bay Road, University Center, Saginaw, MI. www.casefuneralhome.com
