Albert J. Moore, Jr. (Bud)

Albert Joseph Moore, Jr. (Bud) Saginaw, Michigan Went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 20, 2016, at the age of 88 years. He was born on May 20, 1928, son of the late Albert and Ella (Wendt) Moore, Sr., in Zilwaukee. Bud served in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Zilwaukee Lions Club. He retired from the Saginaw District of Metropolitan Life Insurance Company after many years of service. He enjoyed volunteering for the Saginaw County Commission on Aging Meals on Wheels. Bud loved spending time "Up North", in the outdoors, fishing, golfing and spending time with his dog Brandi. He was a generous, loving and caring person. He is survived by Carole, his loving wife of 43 years; his children, Michele Medina and David (Amy Schnieder) Moore; his step children, Kimberly Laviolette, Michelle (Dale) Zimmer of Grand Blanc and Thomas (Violet) Laviolette of Orlando, FL; his grandchildren, Michael and Madison Medina, Joseph and Victoria Laviolette and Sarah Jo Moore; his great grandchildren, Mykel and Asher Laviolette; his sisters, Nona (Eddie) Rogers of Toledo, OH, Iris Heitkamp, Jean Solak and Connie Englund; his sisters-in-law, Janet Bell, Nancy Dempsey and Linda Fandell; also many nieces, nephews, other relatives and his special friends, Luis and Holly Medina. He was predeceased by the mother of his children, Donna Martuch Moore, his daughter, Lynette Moore, his father and mother-in-law, George and Dorothy Lauria. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church, 318 S. Franklin in Zilwaukee. Pastor Marcus P. Manthey will officiate with burial in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
