Alexander James Dodge Saginaw, Michigan Went to Heaven, Friday, November 13, 2015, due to injuries sustained in an accident. Age 4 years. We have lost the star of our lives and Heaven has gained its' brightest. Our amazing sweet precious boy, Alex, had a wonderfully creative and problem solving mind. He was sweet, kind, helpful and very happy. He greeted everyone with a big bright smile. This full of life, "little peanut" loved his numbers, letters, along with every single shape you can imagine. His accomplishments were movie making, Lego structures, drawings (he loved rainbows), spelling words, counting to 100 (in many ways) and playing with his dogs, Chewie and Roxy. He had a passion for learning and loved the out-of-doors. Such an intelligent, perfect loving boy was taken too soon. His life was short but he touched everyone he met. His life was filled with happiness and love. He will be dearly missed by his amazing parents, Alicia and James Dodge II.; his grandparents, Patrick and Ruth Dodge-Arnold; James and Denise Dodge; Tammy and Paul Cassow II.; his great grandparents, Robert and Jean Hughes; Sharon Wertz; Alfred and Dee Arnold; his aunts, Aarika Cassow; Amber Cassow; Samantha Arnold; Jennifer Dodge; his uncles, Paul Cassow III; Jeffrey Pool; Brandon Cassow; Zachary Arnold; Jeffrey Dodge; many other aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives; his cousins and best friends, Kaidence and Wesley; his teacher and classmates at Brucker pre-school. The funeral service will take place at 1:00p.m. Friday, November 20, 2015, at Faith Baptist Church, 4690 Tittabawassee Rd. Saginaw, MI 48604. Rev. Scott McIntyre will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. from 3:00-8:00 p.m. Thursday and then at the church on Friday from noon until the time of the funeral service. Alex's parents have made the inspiring decision to donate his organs with the intention of preventing another family from being in this situation. This beautiful boy will live on through others.
