Weisheim, Alexander "Harold" Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away Friday December 4, 2015 at home at the age of 87 years.
Alexander "Harold" Weisheim was born August 22, 1928, in Saginaw, the son of the late Fred and Mollie (Lohrey) Weisheim. He married Olive Chamberlain on October 9, 1948. She survives him. Harold served in the U. S. Army Air Corps and thereafter was employed by the Dow Chemical Company for 32 years, retiring in 1982. He continued working alongside his wife, Olive, and they became supervisors for Shaklee Products, an endeavor from which they drew satisfaction and enjoyment for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church, Hemlock. Harold enjoyed gardening, golfing, and square dancing.
Surviving besides his spouse are their children, Patricia (John) McKenzie, Daniel Weisheim, Nancy (Carl) Marotzke, and Ruth (Tim) Dill; nine grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Harold was predeceased by two grandsons, Adam Dill, and Wesley Watkins; and five brothers, Jake Lohrey, William Weisheim, Reuben Weisheim, Gottfred Weisheim, and Walter Weisheim.
Funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Saturday December 12, 2015, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 2461 N. Raucholz Rd. Hemlock. Rev. Dr. William L. Morris will officiate. Private family burial will take place in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with military honors by VFW Post 1859. Friends may call at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Friday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and then at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
