Alice Evelyn Gorney

Alice Evelyn Gorney Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Thursday, February 22, 2018, at her home. Age 89 years. The daughter of the late Julia (Marohnic) and Anthony Francetic was born October 22, 1928 in Merrill, Michigan. She married Clarence M. Gorney, October 14, 1950. He passed away March 20, 2004. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. Alice attended the Midland School of Nursing, and was employed by Saginaw General Hospital (Covenant) retiring with many years of service. She enjoyed going to the casino and playing the lottery. Surviving are six children and their spouses, Mary Ann and Harold Scanlon, Santa Fe, New Mexico; Kenneth Gorney, Traverse City, MI; Julia Gorney, Royal Oak, MI; Darlene Gorney, Saginaw, MI; Michael and Shari Gorney, Three Lakes, Wisconsin; Patrick Gorney, Freeland, MI; five grandchildren, Jervon Gorney, Sarah Scanlon, Jacob Gorney, Nicholas Gorney, Kylie Gorney; two brothers and their spouses, Rudy and Florence Francetic and John and Yvonne Francetic; many nieces and nephews.
