Alice M. LaPan

Went to be with her husband, Gary on Sunday, August 13, 2017 at the age of 73 years. The daughter of the late Robert and Frances (Bumgarner) Floeter was born on September 13, 1943 in Saginaw. She married Gary LaPan on July 27, 1963; he predeceased her on December 27, 2010. Alice was an avid reader and enjoyed collecting Alice in Wonderland memorabilia, teapots and cats. Her greatest joy in life was her grandchildren. Surviving are her children: Stephanie Dudek, Jody (Bill) DuBeau, her grandchildren: Amanda, Alex and Ally Dudek, Jordan, Jake, and MacKenzie DuBeau, great-grandchildren: Murphy and Marion DuBeau, her siblings Lexie Petro and Fran (Joe) Majeski and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her siblings: Anne Sparks, Robert Floeter Jr., Barbara Bauer, Judy Yahrmarkt. Funeral service will take place at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Bill Bodnar will officiate with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the wishes of the family.
