Alicia I. Hill

Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 at the age of 80 years. The daughter of the late Antonio and Theresa (Herrera) Maldonado was born on March 1, 1939 in Saginaw. She graduated from Saginaw High School, the class of 1957. Alicia married Rodney A. Hill, Sr. on August 28, 1982; he survives her. She retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. Alicia enjoyed shopping, ceramics, gardening, feeding the birds and spending time with her family. Surviving besides her husband, Rodney, are their children: Jacqueline Terwillegar, Kathleen (Craig) Koehm, Rhonda (Jerry) Spencer, Rodney (Lena) Hill, Jr., grandchildren: Ashley, Kayla, Christian, Austin, Brady, Alyssa, Landen, her great-grandson David, her brother Tony Maldonado, sister Cecelia House, sister-in-law Judy Kirby and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alicia was predeceased by her daughter Lisa Gaye Vargas and her sister Carmela. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Fr. Kevin M. Maksym will officiate with burial at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
