Allen "Al" B. Woodruff

Allen B. Woodruff of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, at Covenant HealthCare – Harrison. He was 83 years old. Allen B. Woodruff was born on May 12, 1936, in Findlay, Ohio, to the late Kenneth and Mary (Hindall) Woodruff. He married Judy L. Rodbough in May of 1956; she preceded him in death on August 24, 2010. Al was the proud owner and operator of Woodruff Contracting. He had an impeccable work ethic, truly loved working, and passed this trait on to his children. Al also enjoyed deer hunting and going to the casino. Above all, he loved and cherished his family.

Surviving are two sons and two daughters: James (Lori) Woodruff of IN; Gretchen (Dave) Lawrence of Saginaw: Christina (Dave) Bertie of Saginaw Township; Shawn (Jennifer) Woodruff of Saginaw; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; siblings: Jack (Dawn) Woodruff of AZ; Ollie (Pat) Woodruff of Munger; Gene (Renee) Woodruff of AZ; Keith (Idell) Woodruff of AZ; Leon Woodruff (Brenda) of Sanford; Barry (Diane) Woodruff of Beaverton; Carmel Pierce of AZ; sister-in-law, Carla Woodruff. Also surviving are many niece, nephews, extended family and friends.

Al was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emilee J. Woodruff; great-granddaughter, Autumn Melody-Noelle Wlock; and a great-grandson, Vincent Cox.

Honoring Al’s family’s wishes cremation has taken place with a memorial service to be announced at a later date.
