Aloha Windy

Windy, Aloha Thomas Township, MI Passed away on Monday, November 11, 2013 at the age of 85 years. Aloha was born on November 24, 1927, the daughter of the late Norman and Erma (Bluemer)Yancer. She married Stephen B. Windy on November 8, 1947; he predeceased her on May 12, 1969. Aloha was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church and was very active at Swan Haven Manor where she made her home. She also retired from St. Francis Home. Surviving are her children and their spouses: Susan (Raymond) Bordeau, Steve (Bonnie) Windy, Sandra (Larry) Kindel, Scott (Jan) Windy, Stanley (Patricia) Windy, Stuart (Mary) Windy, Shawn (Denise) Windy, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, sisters Winifred (Ronald) Haller, Lorraine Haller and sister-in-law Shirley Yancer and many nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was also predeceased by a brother, Charles "Spark" Yancer. Funeral Liturgy will take place 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1035 N. River Rd. Fr. Peter J. Gaspeny will officiate with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. on Friday 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday at church, 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
