Amber Anne Morris

Our loving sister, mother, aunt and friend passed away unexpectedly on Friday April 29, 2016 at the age of 30 years. The daughter of the late Charlene (Morris) Cottenham was born on July 29, 1985 in Saginaw. Amber was a loving, caring mother who would go above and beyond for her son. She enjoyed watching movies, doing her nails and spending time with her family. Surviving are her son; Az'marreon Morris of Saginaw; fianc, Brandon Thomas of Saginaw, MI; her sisters: Holly Morris and LaReshia Rutledge, brother-in-law Lester Burton all of Saginaw, MI; grandmother Beverly Walleart of Shaveport, LA; an uncle James (Yvonne) Morris of Saginaw, MI; two special aunts: Kelly Carter, Alvertia Stoekl both of Saginaw, MI; two nieces: Zoe Morrissette of Bronx, NY; Preanna Linzsey of Saginaw, MI; four nephews; Collin Morrissette, Jonathan Morrissette both of Romulus, MI; TyRus Morris of Bay City, MI; Satana Morris of Saginaw, MI; one great-niece Roc'Kell Morris; two Godsons: Deandre Stephens, Tristen Stephens; one Goddaughter: Layshia Stephens, many cousins, other relatives, and friends including her very special friends Billy and Sarah Singh. Amber was predeceased by her mother Charlene, her dad Lamar Rutledge, her grandmother Judith (Base) Welzin, and her grandfather James Morris. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon Friday, May 20, 2016 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Anthony Dent will officiate with cremation to follow. Friends may visit at the funeral chapel on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the wishes of the family.
