Angela Davis

Angela Davis Saginaw, MI Passed away Wednesday, April 29, 2015, at the age of 42 years. Angela was born April 11, 1973, in Saginaw to Bennie and Maggie Lee Davis. She was preceded in death by her sister Cersandra Davis. Angela grew up in the Saginaw community and attended Rose Hill Baptist Church then joined Messiah Missionary Baptist Church. Angela accepted God in her life at a young age. She graduated from Bridgeport High School in 1993. Angela was very smart and played piano and various sports throughout her middle and high school years. Angela had a bright future ahead of her. She graduated from Delta College with an Associate of Arts and then attended Saginaw Valley State University. Angela soon became an elementary school teacher in Bay City, Michigan. Angela loved God and held an unconditional love for her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Angela's most memorable attributes were her beauty, her talents, and her love for everyone. Angela will truly be missed and will forever live in our hearts. Angela leaves to cherish her precious memories are her parents, Maggie and Bennie Davis; two brothers, Bennie James Davis II and Malcom A. Davis; three nephews, Marquavion Townsend, Marquez Townsend, and Bennie James Davis III; four nieces, Alonna Davis, Aniyah Davis, Leela Jerek, and Morgan Davis; a great-niece, Amari Davis; and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends. Angela had a very special friend, Bevelie Wilson that she cherished. Funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, 2015, at Messiah Missionary Baptist Church 2615 Williamson Rd, Saginaw, MI 48601. Rev. Otis Washington will officiate.
