Angel (Angelica) Kristine Moore

Jesus called Angel home unexpectedly on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at the age of 29 years. She was born on August 4, 1991 to Darrell and Melody Moore in Saginaw. Angel graduated from Merrill High School, class of 2009. She later earned a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Arts in Social Work from Central Michigan University. Angel was employed with Big Brothers Big Sisters, where she used her gift of helping others. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church.

Angel had a knack for helping others, she invested much of her time being a part of Our Community Listens, CAN council of the Great Lakes Bay Region, Great Start Collaborative, Young Leaders United Executive Council, Leadership Bay County and so many more. She had a love for traveling and being near water. Angel also loved playing cards, bingo, singing, puzzles, scrapbooking and volunteering. Above all she cherished her time with her family and many great friends and had a great love for God. Angel was always trying to make the world a better place for those in the next generation.

Angel is survived by her parents Darrell E. Moore and Melody (Aungst) Moore and her stepfather Jaramia Richards. She is also survived by her siblings Victoria E. (Moody Jackson) Moore, Johnathon J. Williams and her step sister Sarena (Robert) Wonsey as well as her nieces and nephews Gabe Amaro, Christian Moore and Camdyn Moore. Also surviving are her grandparents Noreen and Gary Richards, and many adopted family members.

She is predeceased by her grandparents.

A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Messiah Lutheran Church (1550 South Poseyville Road, Midland). Pastor Ed Doerner will officiate. Burial will take place at St. Patrick’s cemetery following the service. Friends may visit the family from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company (125 E. Saginaw, Merrill) and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at church on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Big Brothers Big Sisters (2200 N. Saginaw Road, Midland, Michigan 48640) or CAN Council (1311 N. Michigan Ave, Saginaw, Michigan, 48602) in Angel’s memory.
