Anita Balderas Ramos

Our loving mother, grandmother and sister, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, August 15, 2024. Age 69 years.
Anita was born on August 5, 1955, daughter of Francesca (Vasquez) and the late Pedro Balderas, in Coolidge, Arizona. She married Riemundo Ramos on July 16, 1979. He predeceased her on June 9, 2018. Anita enjoyed going to BINGO with her sister, trips to the casino, tending to her lawn and watching television, especially the crime shows. She was a very loving, supportive, soft spoken, but stern mother. Anita had a sweet sense of humor, enjoyed the holiday family gatherings and loved to cook for them. She adored her grandchildren and loved to spend time with them.
Anita is survived by her mother, Francesca Balderas; her children, Lupita (Rogelio) Rodriguez, Riemundo (Sandra) Ramos, Sabino Ramos, Tina (Stephen) Cannoy and Bobbi Jo (Robert Gibson) Ramos; grandchildren, Santiago(Kimberly Leach) Noyola, Esteban Noyola, Santana Noyola, Anissa Ramos, Siara Ramos, Riemundo Ramos, Rosita Ramos, Audrey Ramos, Kuryn Ramos, Ivy Ramos, Becky Ramos, Amber Ramos, William Ramos, Bella Ramos, Ashley Ramos and Raquel Ramos; brothers and sisters, Lupe Balderas, Nicholas Balderas, Chris Balderas, Pete Balderas, Raymond Balderas, Alice (Henry) Zamora, Hacinta Gomez, Pilar Louis, Adelina (Fred) Medel and Amelia (Alfredo) Diaz; her best friend, Mary Lou Garcia; and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her brother Ricardo Balderas.
Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m., on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, at St. John Paul Parish, St. Josaphat Catholic Church, 469 Shattuck Road. Fr. William Rutkowski will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 19, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. where the family will be present for a prayer vigil at 6:00 p.m. and at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
