Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother passed away on Sunday, September 02, 2018 at Wellspring of Frankenmuth, at the age of 93 years. Ann Pavlicek was born on August 4, 1925, daughter of the late Anton and Katrina (Duda) Pavlicek. She married Joe Hervert on June 21, 1945; he preceded in death on May 21, 2003. Ann enjoyed garage sales, fishing, traveling with her husband Joe and weeding her garden. Above all, she loved and cherished her children and all of her grandchildren and was especially grateful to represent five generations of ancestors. She will forever be remembered for her fun and outgoing personality, as well as her laugh and wonderful sense of humor. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Heartland Hospice.
Surviving are two sons: Jeff Hervert and his wife, Julie of Caseville and Joseph Hervert of Saginaw; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Kate Pavlicek. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Shirley Hervert; seven brothers: Tony (Vivian) Pavlicek, Frank (Evelyn) Pavlicek, Joe (Esther) Pavlicek, Fabian (Ruth) Pavlicek, Charlie (Donna) Pavlicek, Johnny (Paula) Pavlicek and George Pavlicek; a brother-in-law, Ed (Dolores) Hervert; two sisters-in-law: Lorraine (Don) White and Millie (Joe) Gracias and two nephews: Edward Hervert, Jr. and Aaron White.
A memorial service will take place at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Family and friends are welcome to visit at funeral chapel on Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service. Honoring Anns wishes cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Heartland Hospice or the Johnny Burke Childrens Foundation.
