Ann Lee Saginaw, Michigan Passed away peacefully January 20, 2020 at the age of 93. Ann was born on August 17, 1926 to the late Casper and Molly (Salwasser) Markert in Chicago, Illinois. Ann married Donald Lee on June 9, 1949. He preceded her in death June 19, 2005. Ann was a cook for many years at Bridgeport Community Schools, she also enjoyed sewing and watching her yellow canary. Ann also had a deep love for flowers. Surviving her are her children Lois (Gary) Dietrich and Gary (Nita) Lee. Ann is also survived by her five grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and her sister Betty Johnson. She was preceded in death by her son Roger Mason; her sisters Molly Howe, Esther Bentsen, and Mary Markert and her brothers John Markert and Casper Markert Jr. A funeral service will take place 11 a.m. Monday, January 27, 2020, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Highway Saginaw. Rev. William Hessler will officiate with burial in Oakgrove Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel, from 2:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday January 26, 2020 and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
