Ann Margaret Beythan, 78, of Freeland, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 15, 2017 at the Cartwright Care Center in Saginaw, with her family, who loved and cared for her, by her side. She was born September 13, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan, daughter of the late Clarence "Bud" and Irma (Bremer) LaBelle. Ann married her loving husband of fifteen years, Edwin Beythan, on May 25, 2002; he survives her. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School with the class of 1956. Ann worked at her father "Buds" company, Saginaw Embroidery. She then owned and operated Valley Embroidery and later worked at Award and Sports where she continued to embroider local area varsity jackets, bowling shirts, and assembled trophies and plaques. Ann was involved with Jobs Daughters of Bridgeport and a past member of the Tri-City SnoGoers. Ann enjoyed the Detroit Tigers, bird watching, jigsaw puzzles, fishing, and playing cards, especially Acey-Deucey with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter and son, Kathleen (Thomas) Zieroff of Saginaw and Robert (Linda) Beythan of Freeland; one brother, Kenneth LaBelle; grandchildren, Jacob Zieroff, Ryan (Reba) Zieroff, Caleb (Hannah) Zieroff, and Haylee Beythan; four great grandchildren; and two stepdaughters, Jenean (Frank) Amerman and Maurine (Paul) Brusko. In addition to her parents, Ann was predeceased in death by one sister and one brother, Erma Hillman and Donald LaBelle.
The family would like to personally express their gratitude for the excellent care received from the Hospice personnel, Visiting Nurse Association (VNA), and especially the Cartwright Care Center.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road, where her family will receive friends from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, and then from 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the time of service. Burial will be in Owen Cemetery.
