Beloved wife, mother and grandmother passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at her home, with her family at her side. At the age of 83 years.

The daughter of the late Thomas C. Pickett and Louise A. (Frederickson) Neumann, Anne was born on May 4, 1937 in Evanston, Illinois. She married Joseph W. Pufahl on January 1, 1958 at St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Saginaw; he survives her. Anne was a bookkeeper for over 25 years at the family’s business, Jo-Den Service Inc. She enjoyed playing the piano, reading and gardening. Anne would spend most weekends with her husband and family at their vacation home at Frankfort, Michigan. Her family would describe Anne as tenderhearted, loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. Above all, Anne cherished the time spent with her loving family.

Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Joseph; one daughter and one son: Laura Lynn Ebrahimi; Joseph Lawrence Pufahl; two grandchildren: Seth Joseph Pufahl and Allyssa Paige Pufahl. Also surviving are nieces, nephews and extended family members. Anne was preceded in death by two brothers: Thomas Clifton Pickett, Jr. and Robert Louis Pickett.

Honoring Anne’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Burial will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery, 4200 Belford Road, Holly, Michigan. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center.
