Anthony James “Tony” Ciaciuch Jr.
Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather and brother passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Health Source Saginaw with his family at his side; at the age of 79 years. The son of the late Anthony and Valerie (Lago) Ciaciuch was born on October 15, 1940 in Bay City, Michigan. Tony married Margaret Ann Schnople on January 30, 1965 in Saginaw, Michigan; she preceded him in death on February 28, 2006. He loved fishing and music, especially loud polka music. Tony was an avid sports fan of the Detroit Tigers. Above all, Tony cherished the time spent with his family.
Surviving are two daughters: Kimberly (Frank) Bennett, Pamela (Richard) Thompson; eight grandchildren: Jennifer (Rusty) Deaton, Richard (Mallory) Thompson, Kaycee (Ricky) Thompson, Kailey (Troy) Leach, Erica (Todd) Fields, Kyle (Hannah) Bennett, Danielle (Tim) Brewer, Tricia Barnes; twelve great-grandchildren: Sidnee, Tristan, Owen, Hadlee, Riley, Brenna, Hayzel, Harlee, LilyAnn, Conor, Benjamin, Stella; expecting a great-granddaughter to arrive in August: IvyMae; a brother: Gary (Carolyn) Ciaciuch; and a sister: Debbie Jarvis.
Tony was preceded in death by three sisters and their spouses: MaryAnn and Kenneth Murawski, Joann and Stanley Gontko, Caroline and John Malusi; two brothers-in-law: Wallace Schnople and Chuck Jarvis.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Heartland Hospice and Health Source of Saginaw for their compassionate care of Tony.
Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 19, 2020 at W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, Saginaw. Burial will follow at St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 18, 2020 and from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral chapel. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children Hospital.
