Anthony "Joe" "Mac" Joseph Schultz, Jr. of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend passed away unexpectedly at his home on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was 64 years old. Anthony Joseph Schultz Jr. was born on May 28, 1958, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Anthony Joseph and Agnes Marguerite (Tedford) Schultz, Sr. He was a proud graduate of Eisenhower High School and attended Delta College and Mott Community College. Joe was married to the former Nancy Stephenson in Caseville, Michigan, and together their union created two beautiful children. He was employed by his sister and brother-in-law's business, Spartan Pools, and continued to work for them under new ownership for a total of 50 years. The role of his lifetime, and his little piece of heaven, was to be the most amazing, loving, and devoted father and grandfather of all time. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing, watching birds and all wildlife, and just sitting in the sunlight. The jack of all trades, Joe could do or fix anything. He was a longtime member of the Eagles Club in Caseville. Joe enjoyed fishing, hunting, cruising, fireworks, taking road trip adventures with his children, going to garage sales, and coin collecting. He was also a gifted and talented woodworker, bread baker, and venison jerky creator. Joe will forever be remembered for his wonderful sense of humor, for the immense love he had for his family, especially spending time with his children and grandchildren, and for truly living a remarkable life filled with many beautiful memories and stories.
Surviving are a daughter and son, Alicia Ann Schultz and her fiancé, Tyler Paulson of Cass City; Andrew Joseph (Melissa) Schultz of Owendale; four grandchildren: Liam Joseph Paulson, Lucy Rae Paulson, Agnes Jean Schultz, and Livia Ann Paulson; three sisters, Patricia Ann (Daniel) Sabedra of Davison; Jane Francis (Richard) Browning of St. Charles; Sharon Sue (Jim) Herzberg of Scottsdale, AZ; former spouse, Nancy.
