Arlene Kay Roggow

Roggow, Arlene Kay Hemlock, Michigan Our daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away peacefully Sunday, November 9, 2014 at her home, age 53 years. Arlene was born September 16, 1961 in Saginaw, Michigan the daughter of Genevieve (Lechmann) and the late Donald Arthur Slodowski. She married Timothy Andrew Roggow July 24, 1982 and he survives her. Arlene was a "barefoot country girl". She loved being outdoors fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, jeeping, motorcycles and racing. She enjoyed spending time with her family at Silver Lake and at their cabin in the Upper Peninsula. Arlene held a very special place in her heart for all animals, especially her labs. In addition to her husband Tim, Arlene is survived by her mother Genevieve; her father and mother, Bud and Caroline Roggow; three children, Krystina (James) Curnutt, Timothy (Megan) Roggow II and William (Jennifer) Russell; five grandchildren, Hunter Anthony Russell, Keirstyn Marie Curnutt, Brody Alden Andrew Curnutt, Aubrey Carolyn Roggow and Katie Arlene Roggow; her siblings, Tom (Karen) Slodowski, Diana (Scott) Raymond, Audrey Jarabek, Connie (Norm) Wegner, Joe (Penny) Roggow, Mike Roggow, Ron (Julie) Roggow and many nieces and nephews. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of Arlene's life will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at W.L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. Rev. Fr. Duane Wachowiak will officiate. Friends may visit with the family at the chapel Tuesday from 2:00 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the celebration.
