Arthur C. Winterstein Jr. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away suddenly Saturday, April 11, 2015, at his home. Age 82 years. The son of the late Marilda E. (Whelton) and Arthur Winterstein Sr. was born November 16, 1932 in Saginaw, Michigan. He married Margaret A. Hagerl, September 10, 1954. His loving wife of 60 years survives him. Arthur served with the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955. He was a heavy equipment operator, employed by Operating Engineers Local 324 for 55 years and with Bourdow Trucking for 30 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, the Tri County Sno-Goers and the Saginaw Field and Stream. He enjoyed hunting with his family, fishing with his buddies, snowmobiling and gardening. Surviving besides his wife, Margaret, are two sons and their wives, Johnny and Theresa Winterstein; Terry and Kristin Winterstein; five grandchildren, Erica Stevens and her husband, Ron; Jessica Dastyck and her husband, Brandon; Heather Winterstein and her fianc, Dan Christensen; Matthew and Ashleigh Winterstein; two great grandchildren, Summer and Kirstin Stevens; a sister, a brother and their spouse, Louise and Jack Peters; Norman and Ruth Winterstein; three sisters-in-law, Marilyn Winterstein, Lois Hagerl, Leona Winterstein; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers and a sister, Lester, Bernard and Phyllis Winterstein and two brothers-in-law, Clarence and Bob Hagerl have predeceased him. The funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 5335 Brockway Rd. Saginaw. Burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday and then at the Church from 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the time of the funeral service.
