Arthur Leo Taylor Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Friday, September 1, 2017, at the Aleda E. Lutz Veterans Administration Medical Facility. Age 87 years. The son of the late Cecelia (Kelpinski) and Arthur Taylor was born July 17, 1930 in Grayling, Michigan. He married Doris Rabideau. His wife of 62 years survives him. Arthur served with the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of the American Legion Post #439 and the V.F.W. He was employed by U.S. Graphite, retiring with over 30 years of service. He was a longtime member of a Swan Valley Golf league, enjoyed woodcarving and was an avid hunter. Surviving besides his wife, Doris, are two children and their spouses, Brian and Deborah Taylor; Michelle and Robert Trombley; two grandchildren, Courtney Taylor and her fianc, Nate Meisel; Mackenzie Taylor; a brother and sister-in-law, Gerald and Rita Taylor; a brother-in-law, Roland Rabideau; a sister-in-law and her husband, Barbara and Jerry Clairmont; several nieces and nephews. Arthur was predeceased by twin sons, Arthur and Christopher and a sister Elaine Hoffman. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 14, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Chaplain Perry Parker will officiate with Military Honors under the auspices of American Legion Post #439.
