Barbara Ann Taylor

Barbara Ann Taylor Hemlock, Michigan Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. Age 61 years. She was born September 18, 1956 in Saginaw, Michigan, the daughter of Doris (Kretz) and the late Melvin Guettler. She married Larry Taylor, October 5, 2000. He survives her. Barbara spent the majority of her career in the meat business, where she had over 20 years service with Kroger. Her hobbies included spending time out-of-doors, mowing her lawn with her Craftsman rider, floating in her pool with her girls and grandkids. Barb loved sitting outside at night around a campfire with her family and taking road trips to the Upper Peninsula with her husband. She loved to decorate her outhouse for every season. At Christmas time, people would always drive by looking at all the lawn and light decorations in her yard. Barbara will be deeply missed by her husband, Larry, her mother, Doris, two daughters, Stacey (Nathan) Buszka; Amy Bess; her grandchildren, Tiffany and Rebecca Buszka; Ryleigh Bess; her brothers, Tom (Annette) Guettler; John ( Maxine) Guettler; her niece and nephews, Ben (Michelle) Guettler, Jacob Guettler and Katie Guettler, and great-niece Blair Guettler. Barbara will also be missed by her uncles, aunts, cousins, many close friends and her furry kitten, Midnight. She was predeceased by her father, Melvin, and a nephew, David Guettler. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 16, 2017, at St. John Lutheran Church, 2290 Pretzer Rd. Hemlock, Michigan. Rev. Phil Bigelow will officiate. Friends may call at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Rd. from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday and then at the Church from 10:00 a.m. Monday until the time of the funeral service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital.
