Barbara June Black of Saginaw, Michigan

Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away unexpectedly at her home on Thursday, December 1, 2022. She was 86 years old. Barbara June Litzner was born on June 7, 1936, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Carl Adam and Lillian May (Letourneau) Litzner. She was a proud 1954 graduate of Saginaw High School. Barbara married Howard O. Wachner Sr. on October 15, 1960, he preceded her in death on July 6, 1963; their union brought a son, Howard (Joyce) Wachner. Barbara later married Robert Lester Black in 1965, bringing a second son into the family, Robert Quin (Kimberly) Black. She was employed as a salesclerk at Weichmann's Department Store, a production worker at Tri-City Vinyl, and also worked as an aide with the Visiting Nurses. Barbara loved collecting anything to do with wolves. Above all, she treasured and cherished her family as well as her beloved cat, Callie.

Surviving are two sons: Howard (Joyce) Wachner of Auburn; Robert Quin (Kimberly) Black of Cypress, TX; six granddaughters; five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Joan LaBelle; and brother, Carl Patrick Litzner.
