Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 1, 2019. She was 65 years old. Barbara Jane Laufer was born on April 26, 1954 in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Donald L. and Phillis G. (Zirkle) Laufer. She was a proud 1972 graduate of Saginaw High School. She married Kenneth W. Cramer on September 24, 1974 in Saginaw; he survives her. Barb enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the casino and attending hockey games. She also enjoyed sewing, especially goose clothing. Above all, Barb loved and cherished her family. She had an amazing laugh, an excellent sense of humor, and would often become the life of any family gatherings. Barb will forever be remembered for her kindness, compassion and selflessness to all; she truly put others before herself.
Surviving are her husband, Kenneth W. Cramer of Saginaw; one daughter, Donna Laufer and her companion, Spencer Allendorf of Saginaw; two grandchildren: Coty Allendorf and his girlfriend, Courtney Wolverton and Shelby (Kyle) Herzberg; four great-grandchildren: Kyle W. Herzberg, Jr., Remmington Herzberg, Emilee Allendorf, and Roy Herzberg; three brothers-in-law and one sister-in-law: Bob (Judy) Cramer, Chris (Rob) Decker, Cory Cramer and Bonnie Hadaway, and Andrew (Alexis) Cramer, a good friend, Lynn Laufer; and a niece, Kandy Laufer. Also surviving are many aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roy Laufer and Robert "Bob" Laufer.
A funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 5700 Dixie Hwy. Pastor Robert Richards will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral chapel on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Michigan Chapter of the American Arthritis Association.
