Beatrice Lauretta "Bea" Haag of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully, with her family by her side on Monday, February 3, 2020, at Wellspring Assisted Living. She was 78 years old. Beatrice L. Haag was born on March 9, 1941, in Flint, Michigan, to the late George and Bernice (Johndro) Gellatly. She was a 1959 graduate of Bendle High School in Burton, Michigan and also attended Delta College. She married the love of her life, Paul Haag on January 3, 1959, in Saginaw, Michigan; he preceded her in death on October 16, 2016. Bea enjoyed crafting and creating works of art by hand through quilting, knitting, and crocheting. She used this creativity working at both The Lamplighter Flower Shop and Dapper-Do, a vintage childrens clothing store. Bea loved and cherished her husband, children and grandchildren and found caring and providing for them the most rewarding throughout her life. She also enjoyed camping with family and swimming. Bea was a fantastic cook and her family will fondly remember the many holidays and dinners she prepared over the years.
Surviving are three daughters and a son: Shawn (Max) Williamson of Freeland; Andrea (Jim) Jezak of Northville; Dru MacPherson of Plymouth; Christopher (Angela) Haag of Clover, SC; five grandchildren: Cory Williamson of Venice, FL; Ian Jezak of Northville; Alie Jezak of Lighthouse Point, FL; Nick Pinter of Bay City; Lauren Haag of Clover, SC.
Honoring Beas wishes cremation has taken place. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Saginaw County Humane Society.
