Benjamin James Burns

Benjamin James Burns Jr. Merrill, Michigan Passed away Monday, December 18, 2017, following a lengthy illness and surrounded by his family. Age 58 years. The son of Shirley (Granger) and the late Benjamin Burns Sr. was born June 16, 1959 in Saginaw, Michigan. He was a graduate of Swan Valley High School. He married the love of his life, Ruth Ann Glynn. She survives him. He was employed as a Truck driver and enjoyed camping, fishing, animals and most of all his grandchildren and family. Surviving besides his wife, Ruth Ann, and his Mother, Shirley, are three children and their spouses, Travis Burns; James and Kaysey Brabaw; Robert and Crystal Brabaw; six grandchildren, Michael Burns; Justine, Jessica, Chloe, Paisley, and Hunter Brabaw; four sisters, Beverley Nichols, Janet Johnson, Marilyn Burns; Bonnie and Jason Hayes; a sister-in-law and her husband, Rose Ann and Ed Burkholder; a brother-in-law, Richard Glynn; many nieces and nephews. A brother and a sister, John Burns and Catherine Emery, have predeceased him. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
