Beloved son, nephew, grandson, brother, husband, father, grandfather and friend, Bernard Frank Byrne passed away peacefully Thursday, December 17, 2015, with his family at his side after a short illness. The son of the late Melvina (Wegner) and Bernard F. Byrne, he was born October 26, 1943, in Saginaw. He was especially proud of the work that he did in Puerto Real, Spain for GM Componentes and of the accomplishments of his many Spanish friends and co-workers. His greatest joy after his children was making a list and finishing a project. An avid reader, handyman and sports fan, he enjoyed an active retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a special aunt and uncle, Marie (Byrne) and Norman Messner; his grandparents Frederick and Ellen (Brady) Wegner and Frank and Mary (McCarty) Byrne.
