Bernard James Mohn "Butch"

Our loving father, son, grandfather and brother passed away peacefully with his family at his side, on Tuesday, April 23, 2024. Age 55 years.

Butch was born on May 13, 1968, son of Sandra Ware and the late Loren Mohn, in Saginaw. He loved being outdoors, whether it was fishing, hunting, camping, golfing, coaching softball and spending time with his family. He was a devoted Saginaw Spirit Fan, enjoyed shooting pool and playing poker. Butch will be remembered for being a caring father, having a big heart and being there for others. 

Butch is survived by his mother, Sandra Ware; children, Mark Mohn (Brianna Gray), Zachary Mohn (Alyssa Murray), Allison Mohn (Anissa “Honey” Martinez) and Matthew Young (Allison Schroeder); grandchildren, Mila Rose Mohn, Jaycee Young and Shae Young; sister, Dawn Dickinson; brothers, Christopher and Jason Mohn; nieces and nephews, Megan Dickinson (Joe Gillett), Jacob Dickinson, Dakota Smith and Brandi Woodward, many other special relatives and friends, including his best friends, Randy Burkey, Fred Carne, Paulie and Dana. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Chet and Florence Kubiak, brother-in-law, David “Jumpy” Craig, several aunts and uncles. 

Funeral service will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2024, at W. L. Case and Company, 201 N. Miller Road. Pastor Jeff Ralph will officiate with burial in St. Andrew Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, April 28, 2024, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the chapel, and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
