Bernard “Bernie” M. Enos of Apple Valley, California, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2020, at his home. He was 66 years old. Bernie was born on December 4, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Samuel and Ann (Kennedy) Enos. He was a proud 1971 graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, he honorably served his country as a marine in the United States Marine Corps. Bernie then attended Victor Valley College in California where he obtained his Associate’s Degree. He married the love of his life, Jeannie Geving on April 24, 1982, in Apple Valley, California; she survives him. Bernie was employed as a salesman with Hostess; retiring after 34 years of dedicated service. He was kind, caring, and loved life. Above all, Bernie treasured and cherished the time he spent with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He will forever be remembered as a beacon of light to all he loved, and for making this world a more beautiful place.
Surviving are his wife of 34 years, Jeannie; two children and one daughter-in-law; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six siblings: Morey (Sandy), David (Jean), Cathy, Becky (Steve), Patty, and Jerry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Ann Enos; and a brother, Timothy Enos.
Honoring Bernard’s wishes cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be planned at a later date at March Air Force Base in California. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, or the Wounded Warrior Project.
