Passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2018 at St. Francis Home in Saginaw. She was 87 years old. Bertha Mae Turner was born on June 25, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Charles T. and Estella Pearl (Trahan) Turner. She was married to Ivan Lintern on October 14, 1948 in Angola, Indiana; he preceded her in death on August 12, 2004. Bertha was a member of the Eastern Star, as well as, the Daughters of the Nile. She enjoyed playing cards, Bingo and going to the casino. She will forever be remembered for her kind, loving and compassionate heart and for her lively indomitable spirit.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol (Doug) Smith of Saginaw; four grandchildren, Tanya (Mike) Habitz of Saginaw, Nicole (Jeff) Wiktorowski of St. Johns, Stacy (Kevin) Price of Grand Blanc and Lindsay (Kevin) Virk of Clarksdale, AZ; 10 great-grandchildren, Alex, Grace, Luke and Natalie Habitz, Claire, Gage and Lance Wiktorowski, and Amelia, Caden and Ella Price; and a former son-in-law, Dan (Roxanne) Dupuis of Detroit, Michigan.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Dupuis.
A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road. Rev. Ted McCulloch will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
