Betty J. Trogan

Trogan, Betty J. Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at the age of 89 years. Betty Jean Corbett was born December 27, 1927 in Gladstone, Michigan to the late Eleanor (Davis) and John J. Corbett. She married Joseph J. Trogan. He passed away in 2016. She had been employed as an administrative assistant at St. Christopher of Bridgeport for 25 years, retiring in 2000. She was a member of St. Dominic Parish. Surviving are four daughters and one son, Barbara Tomcal, Joseph J. Trogan, Jr., Yvonne (Russ) Snyder, Elaine (David, Sr.) Vlassis and Ann Marie Fitch; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; two brothers, C.W. (Bill) Corbett and his wife, Jean; and Leo (Skip) Trahan and his wife, Rita. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Corbett and her grandson, Stephen Vlassis. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 21, 2017 at St. Dominic Parish, SS Peter and Paul Church, 4735 W. Michigan. Rev. William Taylor will officiate. Burial will take place in the Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone, Michigan. Friends may visit with the family at Church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral liturgy.
