Betty Jane Majeski of Hemlock, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and friend passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at Shields Comfort Care in Saginaw. She was 100 years old. Betty Jane Graham was born on February 23, 1921, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late William and Anna (Nothelfer) Graham. She married the love of her life, Stanley Majeski, on June 8, 1940; he preceded her in death on December 20, 2005. Betty was a lifelong and faithful member of St. John XXIII Parish, St. Mary Catholic Church and was a member of the Catholic Women's League. She loved the role of her lifetime, being a wife, mother and grandmother. Betty was a gifted seamstress and enjoyed sewing, as well as crocheting. Betty was also a quilter and made her entire family beautiful and priceless quilts. She was a superb cook and marvelous baker, knowing exactly how many cups of love, dashes of kindness, and pinches of care were needed to make everything taste great. Betty also took great pride in her independence and even at 100, she was still working on her puzzles. Above all, she loved and cherished her family and the many gatherings she was able to celebrate throughout her life. She left her indelible mark in this world with grace and reverence, with her wonderful sense of humor, and for her profound kindness to all she knew and loved.
Surviving are two sons: Richard (Harriette) Majeski of Saginaw; Joseph (Fran) Majeski of Hemlock; four grandchildren: Shari (Robert) Baumann, Richard (Amy) Majeski, Jami (Bernie) Brown, and Michael Majeski; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Majeski; parents, William and Anna Graham; one brother and two sisters, Robert (Margaret) Graham, Beatrice (Thurlow) Stack, and Bernice (Clarence) Campbell.
