Betty Mae Krenz (Eichhorn)

Krenz, Betty Mae (Eichhorn) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center, following a lengthy illness, at the age of 93 years. Betty Mae Eichhorn was born September 25, 1923 in Bay City, Michigan, to the late William and Beatrice (Duval) Eichhorn, and was the step-daughter of Floyd Kerkau. Betty was a graduate of the 1941 Class of Bay City Central High School and the 1944 Class of Saginaw General Hospital School of Nursing. She married William H. Krenz on October 12, 1946; he predeceased her in 1993. Surviving are a daughter, Cathy (Roger) VanWagner, Saginaw; and a son, William (JoDee) Krenz, Long Lake; two grandchildren, Jessica Krenz and Carson Krenz; two sisters, Patricia Cabage and Sally (Don) Stuart; several nieces and nephews; a special cousin, Vivian Dobrinski and her family. Betty's family extends special thanks to Hoyt Nursing and Rehab Center and to caregivers, Kim, Pam, Katie and Lauren. Funeral service will take place at 12:00 noon Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road, where her family will receive friends from 3:00 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday and then on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Kenneth Parker will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
