Beverly "Bev" Jane Daubert of Saginaw, Michigan
Beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother "Gigi" passed away peacefully on Monday, December 6, 2021, at Meridian Acres in Sanford. She was 83 years old. Beverly Jane Ehlow was born on July 25, 1938, in Saginaw, Michigan, to the late Berthold and Vera (Wager) Ehlow. She was a proud graduate of Arthur Hill High School. Following graduation, Bev began her career working at Saginaw General Hospital, where she held various roles in different departments, but ended her career in Human Resource Management. She met the love of her life, Adam C. Daubert, while working at the hospital. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on November 24, 1962; he preceded her in death on April 26, 2000. Bev was a member of the American Business Association, American Legion Woman's Auxiliary, and Ground Observer Corp. She believed in helping others and lived a life of service. Bev volunteered her time at the Aleda E. Lutz VA Medical Center, and at Ascension Lutheran Church where she distributed communion to the homebound. She was a certified master gardener and enjoyed golfing on various leagues, with family, and friends. Above all she loved and cherished her family. She will forever be remembered for her love and kindness, her devotion to her faith, for selflessly caring for others, and her indomitable spirt.
Surviving are two daughters and one son: Michele Lynn Daubert of Bolder, CO; Gregory (Pam) Daubert of Cape Cod, MA; Cathy (Rick) Bober of Sanford; six grandchildren: Caitlin (Max) Defever, Brandon Bober, Jared Daubert and his fiancée Cassidy, Josh (Katie) Daubert, Justin Daubert and his fiancée Rachel, and Alex Daubert; nine great-grandchildren: Harper, Anthony and Mavis Defever, Elijah Bober, Gavin, Kayla, Nova, Odin and Skylar Daubert. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Miller.
A funeral service will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Ascension Lutheran Church, 8695 Gratiot Road. Rev. Julie Bailey will officiate. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are welcome to visit with the family at the W. L. Case & Company Funeral Chapel, 201 N. Miller Road on Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
