Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at her home, with her family at her side. Age 71 years.
The daughter of the late Robert Lee Sr. and Ruth Marie (Casey) Hill, Beverly was born on March 29, 1953, in Saginaw, Michigan. She graduated from Arthur Hill High School, class of 1972. Beverly married Luis E. Sanchez on May 15, 1972. He survives her. She was a former member of SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Beverly was a member at Hopevale Church. Her role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother was paramount in Beverly’s life, and she dedicated herself to her family, bringing warmth and love to those around her. She had a passion for baking. Beverly enjoyed traveling up north, particularly to the beautiful Mackinac area. Above all, she treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving besides her husband, Luis Sanchez, are their children, Melissa Marie (Sanchez) Houghton and her husband, Brian; Kristy Lynn (Sanchez) Robinson and her husband, David; grandchildren, Diana Marie Sanchez, Tiffany Ann (Chandler) Ludlum, Joshua Jakob Houghton, Roberto Estrada Keith Houghton, Zachary Luis Houghton; great-grandchildren, Joshua Aaron Feldotte III, Elliot Christopher Ludlum; brothers and sister, Robert Lee (Pam) Hill Jr., Michael James (Cheryl) Hill, Thomas Patrick Hill, Barbara Ann (Ed) Duncan; and a very dear best friend, Chris Beatty. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends. Besides her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by her son, Luis Estrada Sanchez Jr.; daughter, Michelle Lynn Sanborn; and great-grandson, Tanner Isiah Ludlum.
Honoring Beverly’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A committal will take place at a later date at St. Andrew Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to W. L. Case and Company Funeral Directors, 4480 Mackinaw Rd, Saginaw, MI 48603. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the American Heart Association, or the American Diabetes Association.
