Yrlas, Bonifacio R. Saginaw, Michigan
Passed away with his loving family by his side on Sunday, January 31, 2016, age 85 years. He was born on May 14, 1930, son of the late Jose and Reynalda (Rodriguez) Yrlas, in Rosenburg, TX. He married Felesita Sanchez on January 23, 1976, she survives him. He retired from General Motors Flint Truck and Bus after 36 years of service and was a member of U.A.W. Local #598. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and choir Rondalla. He enjoyed fishing, playing the guitar, accordion and listening to Mexican music.
Surviving besides Felesita, his loving wife of 40 years, are his children, Rosemary Yrlas, Bonifacio (Virginia) Yrlas, Jr., Ricardo (Oralia) Yrlas, Alfredo (Kim) Yrlas, Arturo (Vicki) Yrlas, Roberto Yrlas and Raynaldo (Tammy) Yrlas; his step-children, Frank and Arno Neitzelt, Glora (Dennis) Haubenstricker, Rosita (Dave) Klimkewicz and Valentina Huerta; 18 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Bonifacio was predeceased by his sisters, Silvestra Yrlas and Julia Vasquez; his brothers, Leandro and Eustaquio Yrlas.
Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 910 N. 6th. Avenue. Fr. Frank Voris, O.F.M., Cap. will officiate with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Thursday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company 4480 Mackinaw Road and at the church on Friday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider St. Joseph Catholic Church.
