Bonnie Jean Murin

Murin, Bonnie Jean Saginaw, MI Passed away Monday, February 17, 2014 at her home, age 83 years. Bonnie was born in Saginaw, Michigan February 9, 1931 the daughter of the late Vernon and Margaret (Gudritz) Nelson. She graduated from Saginaw High School. Bonnie married Stephen Murin March 15, 1952. He predeceased her July 29, 1997. Bonnie was a member of SS Peter & Paul Catholic Church. She had many close and special friends with whom she played cards since 1956. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at her cottage up north and golfing. She was a dedicated University of Michigan football fan. Bonnie is survived by two children, Stephen Murin of Lincoln, Michigan and Cari (Matt) Richardson, Saginaw, MI; her granddaughter, Kirsten Richardson. She also leaves her beloved cat, Jasper. Bonnie was predeceased by a brother, Gerald Nelson. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Bonnie's caregiver, Penny Miller and all the staff at Heartland Hospice for the loving care they gave to Bonnie. According to her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place this summer in Lincoln, Michigan.
