Bradley “Brad” William Bell of Saginaw
Passed away at the age of 66 on Monday, October 24th, 2022, in Saginaw, Michigan. Brad was born in Saginaw to the late Norman & Beatrice Bell. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and was a 1977 graduate of Hemlock High School. Brad spent over 30 years as a chef for Swan Valley Golf & Banquet Center and Crooked Creek Golf & Banquet. It was through his work as a chef that Brad met Alice Samuels and the couple married on July 12th, 2020. She survives him. In his free time, Brad loved being outside. He spent this time birdwatching, sitting by the campfire, or walking in the woods. He especially treasured any time he could spend with family. Brad is remembered as being “the most cheerful person you’ve ever met” and as someone who never had a bad word said about them. He was strong and never complained, but rather focused on being kind-hearted, unselfish, and sensitive.
Brad is survived by his wife Alice Bell; brother Rodger (Mary) Bell; and siblings-in-law Barb Bell, Steve (Cathy) Samuels, Larry Samuels, and Marcia Samuels; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, friends, and his faithful dog Deisel.
Brad was preceded in death by brothers Kim Bell, Randall Bell, and Thomas Bell.
In accordance with Brad’s wishes, cremation is to take place, with a memorial service to occur at 6:00pm on Saturday, October 29th, 2022, at W.L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd., Saginaw, with Rev. Robert Richards presiding. Visitation will take place at the funeral home from 4:00pm until the time of service. There is also a celebration of life planned for next July. Those wanting to make a show of their sympathy may wish to make a contribution to the Prostate Cancer Foundation. Please share your thoughts, prayers, and memories with the family at the funeral home or through www.casefuneralhome.com.
