Beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at his home. He was 48 years old. Brian David King was born on December 13, 1971 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Howard and Nancy (Evans) King. He was a proud 1990 graduate of Bridgeport High School. Brian married Ann Marie Cruz on September 20, 1996 in Saginaw; she survives him. He worked as a full-time stay at home papa and loved and cherished every moment of it. He enjoyed playing pool and dice, collecting and building model cars, and sneaking a drink of Mountain Dew whenever he could. Brian loved his four dogs as well as fish and owned many fish aquariums. He was an avid Patriots fan and was elated to see they made it to the Super Bowl this year. Above all, Brian loved spending time with his family.
Surviving are his wife, Ann Marie King of Saginaw; one daughter, Mataiya King of Saginaw; three step-children, Amanda Bohl, Sean Bohl, and Amber (Eric) Henderson all of Saginaw; one honorary son, Ronald Curtis of Saginaw; six grandchildren, Naivaeh Baldwin, Celestino Baldwin, Trevell Henderson, Aria Henderson, Destiny Bohl and Grace Bohl; a brother, Jeff (Elizabeth) King of Saginaw; a cousin, Jimmy King of Saginaw; an aunt, Esther King of Saginaw; and a niece and nephew, Arik and Ashley King.
He was preceded in death by a step-son, Corey Bohl.
Funeral services will be announced in the coming days at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Honoring Brians wishes cremation will follow the service. Friends will be welcome to visit with the family at the funeral home one hour prior to the beginning of the funeral. In lieu of flowers, those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the family c/o Mataiya King or Amanda Bohl.
