Burrows "Buzz" Morley, Jr.

Passed away Friday, July 21, 2017. Age 80 years. The son of the late Julia (Kaufholz) and Burrows Morley Sr. was born September 27, 1936 in Saginaw, Michigan. He is preceded by his wife, Margaret Jane Corbett. Buzz retired from the Marine Electronics Industry after many successful years of service. He was an active member of the Morley Family Foundation Board of Trustees for 43 years. He was a member of the Lillian Optimist Club, enjoyed car racing, hockey games and civic improvement projects. He was very community minded, an active community volunteer and an engaged philanthropist. Surviving are his children and their spouses, Burrows Morley III and his wife, Christine; Chris and Liisa Morley; Chase and Linda Morley; Michael and Jennifer Morley; Julia Morley; six grandchildren, Parker, Lauren, Mitchell, Madeline, Nicholas and Brooklyn; his brother and his wife, Peter and Susanne Morley. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, August 3, 2017, at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Richard Huling will officiate. Friends may visit with relatives from 11:00 am until the time of the memorial service.
