Byrd Ann Burger

Byrd Ann Burger West Branch, Michigan formerly of Kochville Township Passed away on August 9, 2017, at the age of 85 years. Byrd Ann was born January 17, 1932, in Saginaw to the late Clarence and Margaret (Richards) Smith. She married Thomas E. Burger on October 27, 1951; he survives her. She worked for Burgers Service and Sales until her retirement in 2000. She was a member of the Saginaw Junior Reading Club, Northeast Chapter of Saginaw Business Womens Association, Delta Mower Association, West Branch Regional Hospital Auxiliary, and the Ogemaw Hills Snowmobile Club. Besides her husband she will be missed by her sons, Michael T. (Teri) Burger, Kevin D. (Beth) Burger, Tem R. (JoAnne) Burger; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; sisters, Patricia (Don) Nuerminger and Valerie L. Gilchrist; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her nephew, Donald Nuerminger Jr. and her brother-in-law, James Gilchrist. According to her wishes Byrd bequeathed herself to the University of Michigan Medical School.
