Carl Edward Schultz

Schultz, Carl Edward Hemlock, MI Passed away Friday, March 27, 2015 at Covenant Healthcare, age 81 years. Carl was born in Hemlock, Michigan December 15, 1933 the son of the late Emil and Hildegard (Pretzer) Schultz. He married Mary Sharon Bedore February 8, 1958 and she survives him. Carl served in the United States Army. He worked as a manager/supervisor at Means Stamping Plant for 40 years. Carl loved working in his yard and spending time at his large fish pond. He also enjoyed golfing. In addition to his wife, Carl is survived by two daughters, Sherry (Phillip) Samuel and Wendy (Jerry) Fitch; six grandchildren, Craig (Kim) Samuel, Justin (Lauren) Fitch, Jeffrey Fitch, Jonathon Samuel (Ashley Wirtz) , Andria Fitch (Sam Zuccala) and Melanie Samuel (Evan Zeitler); four great-grandchildren, Keara, Bryson and Hudson Samuel and Chloe Fitch; a brother, Martin (Jane) Schultz; four sisters, Doris Reimer, Lois Frost, Joyce (Fred) Crosby and Jane (Daryl) Tessin; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by four brothers, Jack Schultz, Edwin Schultz, Larry Kleppert and Kenneth Kleppert. The funeral service will take place 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at W. L. Case & Company, 201 N. Miller Rd. Burial will take place in Richland Township Cemetery with military services under the care of VFW Post 1859, Carrollton. Friends may visit with the family at the funeral chapel Monday from 3:00 p m. to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service.
