Carl Maynard Robinson (Skip) Saginaw, Michigan Passed away Tuesday, February 10, 2015, at Magnum Care, Saginaw. Age 83 years He was born March 3, 1931 in Saginaw, Michigan, the son of the late, Clyde and Mabel (Hawick) Robinson. He was raised by his uncle and aunt, the late Clell and Ruth Robinson, upon the death of his mother when he was six weeks old. Carl graduated from Arthur Hill High School and served with the U.S. Army from 1952-1953 during the Korean War. He married Donna Mae Humphrey, of Cheboygan, MI, July 5, 1952. She passed away September 8, 2014. He was employed by General Motors Corp retiring with over 20 years of service. He was a member of Ames United Methodist Church. Carl was very artistic, creative and loved to sing and playing the harmonica. Surviving are two sons, Brad Robinson, Steven Robinson and a daughter, Pamela Robinson; five grandchildren; three step grandchildren; a sister, Margie Ellenberger, Newport Beach, CA; many nieces and nephews. Carl was preceded in death by a daughter, Gail Ann, and a sister, Louella. The funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. Scott Lindenberg will officiate with Military honors under the auspices of V.F.W. Post #1859. Friends may call at the Chapel from 4:00-8:00 p.m. Friday.
