Carmen Ann (Fruechtel) Reinbold Saginaw, Michigan Our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to the Lord on Saturday, June 18, 2016, at the age of 93 years. Carmen was born March 1, 1923, in Saginaw to the late Walter and Leona (LaVictoire) Fruechtel. She graduated from St. Andrews High School Class of 1941. She received a scholarship to attend the St. Louis Institute of Music and took her liberal arts courses at Washington University, both in St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Piano Teaching Certificate with the Progressive Series of Piano Teaching and then taught piano for over 40 years. Carmen married Robert W. Reinbold on March 21, 1953; he predeceased her November 29, 1999. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Saginaw Culture Club, and St. Dominic Parish (St. Stephen Catholic Church). She enjoyed music, playing piano, and attending community concerts. Carmen loved spending time with her family and friends. Carmen will be missed by her daughter, Vickie (Larry) Dodge; grandchildren, Jon (Melissa) Dodge, Steve Dodge, and Sarah Dodge; and great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Grace. She was predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Carl and Florence Reinbold. Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at St. Dominic Parish (St. Stephen Catholic Church). Fr. Steve Gavit will officiate with private burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
