Beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Aunt, Friend and Cancer Survivor.

Carol peacefully passed early Saturday morning at her home on the 26th of March, age 89. She was born at her family home in Saginaw, Michigan, the second child to William (Bill) (dec. 1979) and Eleonora (Schultz) Neuman (dec. 1999).

Carol was married on her birthday in 1955 to William (Bill) H. Smith Jr. (dec. 2012).

Carol was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and had served the church and school, participating in many ways during her lifetime. Carol loved spending time with family, time in the outdoors at the family cabin at Canada Creek Ranch, traveling the U.S. and Holidays.

She leaves her sons Ronald and Brian, daughter-in-law Theresa, granddaughter Sam, sister Nila (Neuman) Spaude and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will take place at 4:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Rev. David Naumann will officiate. Friends may visit with relatives from 1:00 -4:00 p.m. Friday. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider the American Cancer Society. www.casefunealhome.com
