Carol Irene Russell Saginaw, Michigan Loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend passed away Thursday, November 13, 2014, at St. Mary's of Michigan. Age 65 years. The daughter of the late Francis and Verna (Hammond) Wolfgang was born October 29, 1949 in Saginaw, Michigan. She was a graduate of Saginaw High School, Class of 1967 and retired from Target in Saginaw with about 15 years of service. She was a wonderful mother and loved her children, grandchildren and family. Surviving are a daughter, a son and their spouses, Lisa and Matt Coulter; Eric and Kristi Russell; two grandchildren, Alexis and Thomas Coulter; two brothers, one sister and their spouses, Alan Wolfgang; Shirley and Richard Bartels; Lyle and Sallie Wolfgang; many nieces, nephews and her best friend, Sassy, her cat. She was predeceased by four brothers, Millard, Maurice, James and her twin, Carl Wolfgang. In accordance with Carol's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 17, 2014, at the W. L. Case and Co. Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. Saginaw. Rev. Mark A. Loest will officiate. Friends may call at the chapel from Noon Monday until the time of the memorial service.
