Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024 after a courageous battle with a long-term illness. Age 66 years.
Carol was born on May 10, 1957, daughter of Rosemary (Roggow) and the late Kenneth Schell, in Saginaw. She married her first husband, Randy Howey, he predeceased her on June 10, 2004. Carol was later blessed to find love a second time and married Alan Charbonneau. He survives her. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church and a former member of Zion Lutheran Church. Carol retired from AT&T after more than thirty dedicated years of service. She enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing, camping, traveling, playing with her dogs and spending time with her family. Carol was an avid reader, vegetable gardener and canned her fresh pickings. She will be remembered for her big smile, that could light up any room and being a caring mother.
Surviving besides her husband Al, are her children, Earl Howey, Dallas Howey, Bill Howey, Al (Alisha) Charbonneau Jr., Alisha (Chip) Burnell, Chelsea (Ryan) Hendriks, Justus Howey, Andy Howey, Jessica (Allen) Dalton, Jennifer (Anthony) Garza, Janessa Howey, Shane Howey, Katie (Keith) Howey; many grandchildren; her sister, Sandra Peregoy; nephew and nieces, Andrew Peregoy, Kerry (Josh) Always and Millie Pickelmann.
